New Products for 2011

Pocono Mt. Screen Supply is proud to announce many new screen printing supplies & products for the upcoming year. In our screen making department, we have added to our line of Saati emulsions, including Saati capillary film and high density THIK films. We also now stock two different scoop coaters for more versatile coating procedures.

In our supplies department we are adding such items as paper vellum, PMI tape, exposure unit bulbs, transfer paper and powder, screen brushes, screen racks, and more. Triangle Ink has been such a huge success that we've added many more of their products including a number of special effects inks, as well as many bases and additives.

Along with our AWT screen printing presses, dryers, and drying equipment, we are adding Kodiak machinery - rated as one of the best in the industry. Kodiak was the first company to patent the convex hat printing press, and has now grown to become one of the leading manufacturers of screen printing presses, hat presses, dryers, flash units, exposure units, and much more.

For more economical screen washout systems, we've added the complete line of Blackline Screen Washout Sinks and Recirculating Filter Systems. Prices starting at just over $400. Blackline also manufactures the most unique squeegee rack in the industry, also affordable and made of durable polypropylene.

Available for the environmentally-concerned shops, we will be carrying water-based inks. These inks give a unique soft feel, and are much less hazardous than traditional plastisol inks.

Also new for 2011 is our complete line of OSHA-required safety products. These products include items such as first aid kits, eye wash stations, respirators, rubber gloves, and our newly formatted MSDS binder complete with over 300 chemical safety data sheets. Most states are now requiring all shops to conform to OSHA safety guidelines and provide safety apparatus for all employees. Pocono Screen has worked with OSHA frequently on shop safety procedures and equipment and has all current OSHA guidelines available through our site.

For beginning shops, Pocono Screen now has many startup packages and training available. We also offer complete frame coating and exposing services as well as prototype and technical spec work.
